This sheet contains basic information about what is required to operate as a booster club, setting up a nonprofit, Bylaw templates, and templates for budget and treasurer needs (budget template, disbursement form, debit card purchase form, statement reviews, financial reconciliation forms.
This training is provided by Texas PTA. While it is focused on PTA, the officer positions and information is fitting for booster board positions as well.
Every year booster clubs must register their new officers with the district.
Using a district facility? A request must be made with the campus front office (or appropriate authority) and with the district through this link.
There are many providers available for booster club insurance. AIM is one of the most common and affordable. While Denton ISD doesn't mandate it, they strongly encourage it and require it for use of their facilities. This also offers liability protection for officers/club in cases of injury or theft.
